For this wordmark I wanted the viewer to feel awkward themselves. So I made the wordform appear normal at first glance, but just strange enough to cause unease. I thought this would be a fitting name for a clothing company marketed toward a very awkward stage of life, age 11-14. These in-between years are an awkward time to buy clothes, too big or mature for the kids’ section, but too small for adult clothing. Why not celebrate our awkwardness?
